Knowing she has been caught, the possessed Mu-deok disappears back into the mirror, leaving the Crown Price entirely shocked. The strange actions of Mu-deok do not manage to avoid suspicions though, as before long the Crown Prince asks who this person in front of him is because there is a distinct lack of “filth.”
As he continues airing his grievances to himself, the assassin appears in front of him, knowing that he has been thinking of her. “That impudent girl,” he says, believing that her filth must have gotten on him because of the stench of cinnamon emerging from the drink on his table. Reflecting on the rejection he faced from Mu-deok, the young royal is frustrated, vocalising his annoyance at her lack of gratefulness. “They sit there waiting for an opportunity to come out into the world again,” the Master explains, as we cut to the Crown Prince.
There, he collects a relic “cursed with sorcery” from a child, and ensures that it ceases to exist, surprising the kids once more who are aware of the peculiar items “made with the power of the ice stone” in Jinyowon.
